Greetings, All,
I just found your website and am requesting some expert help! I have no experience with Meissner, but have dealt with antique and collectible glassware in the past. We just found what I would call a bureau box or a trinket box with the crossed swords of Meissner in what I think is the Blue Onion pattern. This box also has an indentifying mark embossed on the bottom that is very hard to read but looks like "b2622" and a blue number "17." The box measures about 6" by 4" by 3" and is in pristine condition.
I cannot find this item on any of the internet sources nor in any of my pottery and porcelein reference books. Can anyone help? Is it actually Meissner and when was it produced?
Much thanks.

Sorry about the "Meissner" spelling, folks. It's a habit from the past when I corresponded with a colleague by the name of Mike Meissner. Color me embarrassed...
Maybe I should go back and try some of my searches using Meissen???
Thanks again.
