meissen marks
I have a set of Meissen with 137 pieces.  It is marked by an oval with Meissen written in the center and a star underneath.  Is this worth anything?

Your set is quite valuable, although not so much as it would be if the marking was the "Crossed Swords", which date to an earlier time. If you use this site: http://www.replacements.com/webquote/MSSBLOO.htm you can ascertain the retail value of your pieces. I have found resale to be approx. 1/2 of this.

Only a cross swords mark in blue is true Meissen

I have a cherub pot and it has what looks like either crossed swords underneath or a pair of open scissors in blue and with round ends. http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y183/mikekatb/scissormark.jpg  can anyone tell me if this is Meissen please?
