Chocolate drinking cups

I have recently inherited a pair of Meissen Chocolate drinking cups with lids and saucers.  They were supposedly owned by Napoleon Bonapart and were gifted to Betsy Balcombe on St Helena.  They were then passed down 5 generations of the Heywood familly (my wife's name).

I'm looking for any knowledge that Napoleon owned These Meissen items.

I have some photos to show but i dont know how to get them on the Forum.

Re: Chocolate drinking cups
I regret that your chocolate cups were not owned by Napoleon, I wish for you they were. The painting on your cups and saucers were proobably painted by Helena Wolfson of Dresden towards the end of the 19th century. Helena Wolfson often painted Meissen porcelain that arrived at her workshop in their original white glaze, then added her own colour that was often painted in very bright tones. Such as the yellow in your items.  Most often she used  the Augstus Rex mark AR.  Often collectors  who do not understand the rarity of original AF pieces mistakenly believe their pieces are of orginal Augustus Rex. Sometime Helena Wolfson are found with a cross swords mark but imitating the Meissen original. The most popular of scenes Helena Wolfson painted were Romance.
