Hi Everyone, January is great weather and Antiques show month in florida. The start of the month on the 5th I recommend a visit to the Miami National Airport antique show at the Sheraton Center on the 5th thru 7th and the famous Original Miami Beach Antique Show 11th thru 15th. Both shows offer hundred 's of International dealer booths

Vetted and Un-vetted Antique Fairs and Shows, A Word of Warning!! |

Caveat Empor Buyer Be-Aware. Only a minority of all antique shows are vetted, most are not. But that doesnt necessarily mean you wont be protected if you purchase an item from a show that doesnt offer vetting. It is important to check in any brochure for any announcement of vetting or for any written procedure. If you are sold an item that has be incorrectly described, organisers of antique fairs and shows do not benefit from any items being sold as something it is not. The management of a fair or show may have its ovn guide-lines on what to do if you have been misinformed about a piece you have purchased or about to.

25 years ago, Miami Beach was home to the elderly. Few of the smaller hotels were luxury mostly outdated in need of rennovation and most used by the elderly as their homes. But today this is not the case. Very few small hotels are without rennovation and offer a very succinct and unique decoration.

Isnt Christmas a great time of the year for us all to relax and look back upon the year? I'm just wating for my kids to get me up for our Christmas lunch whilst I work out to solve a software clitch that is preventing some pages from opening up properly.
