| The caducseus mark seen on early 18th century Meissen porcelain between 1718 and 1732 is extremely rare when found on armorial porcelain and this teabowl is no exception.

A rare Meissen armorial tea bowl, painted in schwarzlot and richly gilded, with an elaborate armorial, the reverse with a garland of flowers suspended from a hoop, the base with a caduceus mark, c.1730. Damage and wear. 7.7cm. Across.
