During my recent trip to the US I was invited to view one of the finest collection of early eithteenth century Meissen. Although some pieces were made as late at 1740, the majority of pieces were made prior to 1733. With much emphasis to the Kakiemon patterns, Chinoserie by Hoeroldt and even a teapot signed by the modeller. Signed pieces by any of the modellers are extremely rare. Even few museums have signed examples. Given time I hope to be able to include images of signed pieces here at Buymeissen.
